ROSEHALL PRESIDENT RETURNS FROM FOREIGN UPDATE TRAINING
Rosehall President, Mrs. Charit Halili-De Lara, returned March 19, 2010 after attending a conference and pre-conference tutorial session on ISO 9001 and other standards in the US.
The conference tackled mostly applications of risk management in the various management systems including (lately) ISO 9001:2008 usage, useful tools like the process turtle diagram, process spider diagram, FMEA for services and other risk assessment tools, various auditing techniques and focus on measurement of QMS and process effectiveness.
The conference also presented the progress of revision works on ISO 9001 planned for 2015. Inputs are now being gathered from all over the world on suggested revision topics. An informal survey taken among the 200 or so participants from 18 countries on what subject they would want included in the next major revision of the QMS standard, majority voted on the inclusion of Risk Management.
