Setting Effective Key Performance Measures

Setting key objectives for the organization ensures that the organization clearly communicates the directions and goals that it wants to achieve. The organization, therefore, can provide tangible programs and action plans to support and attain those objectives. Clear measures allow the organization to assess the effectiveness of the plans to attain the objectives.

COURSE OUTCOMES
The participants at the end of the course should be able to understand the linkages between the organizational long-term directions with the functional and operational objectives.
They can initiate and establish measurable key performance objectives for functional units that are both efficient and effective, thereby ensuring organizational objectives are met. Monitoring, reviewing, and improvement of these performances through key performance indicators are also important to ensure the sustained attainment of these objectives.
